In this 2-week beginners course, we will dive into the practice of the Ashtanga Yoga method, exploring mostly asanas, breathing as well as some basic philosophical aspects of the practice.

Sonakshi has been practising yoga since 2015. What started as a brief break from studies and assignments turned out to be a life long journey of self-exploration for her.

Mysore, being the Ashtanga yoga capital of the world, seemed like the ideal location to be at and she packed her bags to the South. It was at the end of the semester at college that made her realise the true potential of this yoga method to relieve stress and sharpen the mind. She has been travelling to Mysore every year since then.

Mysore Classes

Mysore Style Yoga gets its name from the city in Southern India where Sri K. Pattabhi Jois lived. Is a self‐paced class allowing students to receive individual instruction while learning the Ashtanga yoga practice.

Full Primary Series Led Classes

This class is appropriate for students who are familiar with the practice. Students are counted through the Ashtanga Yoga primary series. The intent of a led class is to learn the proper vinyasa count for each posture.
